L.A producer and musician Mndsng has collaborated with the likes of Sofie, Danny Brown, and Koreatown Oddity, but he always seems to find the time to produce his quality solo records. Earlier this year, he released a new single 'Hope You're Doing Better', and now he releases another, titled 'Slowdance', which has landed alongside a filmic music video. Both the song and video are rooted in slick 70s kitsch style. Opening the track are slow, reverb-filled drums, followed by synth pads, stretchy jazz piano chords and finally the bass, which slides in and acts as the cherry on top of the slow groove. Mndsng's gospel-tinted vocals seduce with the lines, 'If you slow dance you can really take time to get to know the rhythm.
